Jesus Loves Me, This I Know...

We all know John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.” We also know the song, Jesus Loves Me This I know, for the Bible tells me so.  Well, God loves us, and so does Jesus. He loves us so much that He left His throne in Heaven and came to Earth to live the life of a carpenter. He was rejected by the people He came to save. He was falsely accused, arrested, beaten, and crucified for a crime He did not commit. And He took on all the sins of the world. He did this, knowing the plan before He left Heaven.  That’s Love.  And God let His son do it, also knowing the outcome beforehand. 


John 13:34, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”  As you go through your week, think about how much God and Jesus love you, and do your best to love one another.
